18km route, Easy, ideal for taking a break at home before leaving for a longer stage.
From Roquemaure to Villeneuve lez Avignon, through vineyards, scrubland and orchards, the Véloroute des Chartreux offers you an alternative route to the ViaRhôna.
Type of VTC bike at least (unpaved passages)
An opportunity for fans of Provençal markets to go from Roquemaure to Villeneuve lez Avignon on Thursday . Take advantage of this route to take a cultural break with the discovery of emblematic monuments such as the Fort and the gardens of Saint-André Abbey , but also the Chartreuse (Tuesday to Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

La Passerelle de la Voie des Papes à Sorgues

A superb architectural work linking the town center of Sorgues and the municipal park to the Voie des Papes which allows you to reach the Oiselay island and the Via Rhôna by bike. The footbridge is directly connected to the new greenway called the Voie des papes. From the Voie des Papes footbridge it is therefore possible to reach Avignon

This stage combines a gourmet break (Châteauneuf-du-Pape and its renowned vineyard), discovery of nature (many river islands punctuate the route) and history.
The arrival is "papal", offering you a breathtaking view first of Villeneuve les Avignon, then of the city of the Popes, the majestic Rhône, the famous Pont d'Avignon, and Mont Ventoux on the horizon.
This is one of the most beautiful views of Avignon!
